For Chelsea in Bloom, MD-FloraBloom was delighted to collaborate with Roche Bobois on a bespoke floral installation inspired by one of the brand’s most iconic creations: the Bubble Sofa.
Designed as a sculptural display, the installation combined natural raffia with delicate pink hydrangeas, creating an organic composition that echoed the sofa’s distinctive curves and soft, enveloping form. The contrast between the texture of the raffia and the softness of the flowers brought depth, movement, and elegance to the overall design.
The concept was developed to celebrate the connection between nature and contemporary design, transforming the showroom into an immersive visual experience. Positioned alongside the renowned Bubble Sofa, the floral installation enhanced the furniture’s artistic presence while introducing a fresh botanical perspective.
